Made it home. 1,160 miles! Averaged about 22 MPG and mostly cruised at 60
MPH. Some kind of chirping noise started in Terlingua. WTF, kept driving and
checked to see if the wheels were getting hot every few 100 miles. Used
several
quarts of oil, so I guess I don't need to change the oil.
Picked up a hitch hiker and his dog, figured I needed some good karma. Guess it
worked since I got home safely.
Need a shower!
