I wuz workin' yesterday, mindin' my own bin'ness when a crew from Channel 11
came in to shoot a commercial promotin' 'green livin' (ecology and stuff), Half
Price Books is one of the sponsors for an Earth Day event. They got permission
to use our store, shootin' pics of a big banner, some displays and etc... I
asked them what they were doin', they mentioned that among other things, they
were wanting to promote DART (bus) ridership to help control carbon emmisions,
etc. They asked about the 'old blue vw bus' in the parkin' lot...they wanted to
incorporate it into their commercial...They spent about 45 minutes takin'
pictures of it under the large banner... They said no guarantees, but unless
the
editors cut it out, it would be on a series of commercials pretty soon!
