OK, due to financial issues and time issues and ADD "reduce the
clutter" issues it's time to pick a side.
I'm keeping the early Bay that runs and is easier for me to work on
with the removable valance of course.
So, here is a list and what I'd like to see. I live in 77656 so plan a
trip or figure on adding some type of shipping.
1. $2500
The Raby built 1.9 L type 4 that has under 1000 miles on it. Minus
the distributor which got re-purposed.
I'll post an abbreviated version of the Raby motor story later.
Part of it is in the TCB archives, here:
//www.freelists.org/post/tcb/Geralds-other-bus-WAS-Re-Re-Can-a-collision-move-the-engine
2. $1000
1973 Riviera. Needs the right rear "works" (drum, backing plate,
maybe the whole spring assembly) replaced due to the loss of an axle
nut -- while being towed -- only at about 10mph but on a single lane
freeway feeder road. Had to drag it about 1/8 mile with the
wheel/tire folded up under the drum to clear the traffic lanes, no
shoulder. It rolls well enough to be pushed up on a trailer.
The tent is the original rubberized canvas. It was good when I last
opened it a few years ago.
3. $1500
1974 Hard top. The only rust was a bit at the battery trays and a
small spot on the front floor. Rolls good. Can be towed on a dolly
or 4-wheels down with a tow bar.
IT IS MECHANICALLY STRIPPED FOR RESTO. All the glass is gone, all
the interior is out. No engine. I don't recall if there is a
transmission in there. You are buying a very solid body that can be
a beautiful running bus with minimal rust repair. Just paint, add
parts from a rust-bucket, buy the Raby motor, and go.
I should have the seats. Not sure if I have the glass. The bus was
dismantled in 2003. I've moved a few times since then.
4. $400
Garrett T-03 turbo. I don't know turbos so the info here is what
I've googled. It is a A/R .42 with a .48 back? It has been stored in
a box, in storage, with its large openings taped shut since mid
2006. I've forgotten what project I was going to use it on. Probably
the Bradley GT (that I'm still unwilling to part with).
5. $ ??
A set of breather vented Empi bolt on valve covers. The rubber seals
are still good. And a set of carburetor breather / linkage tops that
have threaded fittings matching the ones on the valve covers. The
carb toppers look like they are for Weber 44's maybe.
That's it until I make another trip to the storage building. The '74
has stuff piled in it and the Raby motor is installed *in* the Rivi so
I'll try to clean up and get pics when I go back out. It's 20 miles
away and has no electric service so I have to plan some free daylight
hours to go out there.
Quick pictures of the turbo and the Empi covers are here:

I'm only posting this on the TCB and Buskatiers lists for now. If you
know someone who may be interested please just forward them the email,
don't put this out on FaceBook yet.
Thanks,
Gerald
