A core block at a regular shop is typically only worth about 150-200.
Most wont even give that if the crank is broken. You and he may know
the parts better than I or a shop would, and they may be worth more
between friends.

As most of you know I broke a crank in the Zone.new long block(1776) is
ready to
be stabbed, we just need to install the new oil cooler. For the labor
Bob x
number of dollars and then me sell him the old long block minus
crank,the block
has already been fixed.Good heads, cylinders pistons ,110 cam, well
everything
except the crank ,it's a 1641.How much should I ask to be deducted from
my
bill.?
