classic = register every year and inspect every year

antique = register every 5 years or prorated for months left on current TxDot cycle (current one ends 3/13) and no inspection

I have 68 tags and registered as a classic not an antique. I don t have the metal plate only a sticker that s good for 3 years. However, I do need an inspection every year.

I installed 1971 plates on my bus and got a little metal plate that is attached to the rear plate. What is this for? My inspection is due this month but I forgot what the little plate covers. (Registration or Inspection) it's good till 2013.

Anyone know? Eric, Ronnie I know you have them on your buses.

Thanks.
