I can bring it on a trailer but it needs the passenger side stub axle, wheel bearings, backing plate, and possibly bearing retainer (whatever part that's located in) replaced.

Something other than that stub axle was screwed up. I've been replacing the rear wheel bearings ever 6,000 to 10,000 miles and that just ain't right. Having the axle nut vibrate off is just the latest symptom of an ongoing problem.

I'll order a stub axle and nut so it can at least be pushed around without being "gentle". Right now I'm being REALLY careful moving it because the wheel is held on with just a soft cotter pin.

If I bring it on a trailer I might be able to fit the bike as well.

I can't understand why we can't get the Rivi working. All rigs are fixable. We need the Rivi to do the outdoor music.

I have the time off.

The Rivi is no longer even towable without a trailer.

The Beetle is 'almost' driveable. I have to tighten the front tranny mount every couple hundred miles -- on a lowered beetle.

The new air cooled vehicle I'm not sure I'll have enough drive time to be comfortable driving it on a 500 mile trip in the hills. And camping kinda sucks when it is the only vehicle taken.

Still trying to get the wife and kiddos moved back this direction from Virginia. I suspect that's going to be a cash/time drain.

I am *NOT* saying I won't be there. It's just going to be a very last minute decision this year. I'm off the 30th to the 9th.
