It's sad when this kind of thing happens. However I think they're making
much ado about nuthin.
Come on 16 tickets? Wow, What is the Statistical Mean during flower time in
F-Burg during wildflower season. Crimeny if the Barney Fife's of the world
can't handle 16 tickets in a three day period then something's wrong.
I'd also say that $150K number is on the low side. People Eat, People need
someplace to stay, they buy fuel and the avail themselves of the shops
buying stuff. If they can't see the economic benefits then they just want
to keep their little rotten-borough to themselves I guess.
Besides, if it's closer to an Interstate, that'll be better anyway, but
don't blame yourself. No Way, you're bringing economic benefit and putting
their little city on the map. Yes, it's a sleepy, touristy place and if
they can't see the benefit of having tourists then that's their problem.
Here's a thought, why not make the events like the Cali-Classic? The show
is only on Sunday at Irvine, the rest of the events are spread out.
