Yeah, most of the older homes and buildings on the coast of CA do not even have
AC. I spent a few nights once in the original part of the Del Coronada Hotel
in San Diego a few years ago and it does not have AC. And no, I did not see
the ghost; if you know the history of the Del Coronada.

We never had AC and slept with a quilt year round living in Ventura.
Will Rogers said he never experienced a cold winter then summer in San
Francisco. That is true all along the coast.

Hey, the last night on the cruise was that shot at San Simeon beach and I had
on a heavy hooded sweat shirt, jeans and uggs to stay warm. The last day in CA
was at the show in Ventura and I wore a heavy leather jacket almost all day. I
didn't really want to come home to this. It is awful. Spent an awful lot of
years in Texas (my whole life) and I have never seen it like this.
