Something else that it has that someone may be interested in. I am trying to find some data on these, maybe someone can help. This is a November 66, 67 model year bus. It has what I call the hump back fuel tank which I have heard is one year only fuel tank and supposedly holds more fuel than the standard 40 liters (10.6 gallon) splitty tank. It has a hump in the middle to make it larger than a standard before 67 splitty, but is not overall larger like the bay. I have looked at an August 66 manual (67 model year) and a December 66 manual and they both say the fuel capacity is the 40 liters (10.6 gallons). Anyone have any personal insight into the 67 tank and how much it really holds? And would anyone be interested in this 67 only tank, particularly if it holds more than 10.6 gallons? --- On Sat, 10/30/10, sammie smith <bugcollections@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: sammie smith <bugcollections@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] Re: Parting out a bus To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Saturday, October 30, 2010, 3:07 PM Got one, it's nice. Outside I assume but have the insides also. I'm not sure but I think the cargo door handle is 67 one year only. --- On Sat, 10/30/10, wuzmop@xxxxxxx <wuzmop@xxxxxxx> wrote: From: wuzmop@xxxxxxx <wuzmop@xxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] Re: Parting out a bus To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Saturday, October 30, 2010, 3:04 PM Cargo door handle? -----Original Message----- From: bugcollections@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Fri, Oct 29, 2010 7:02 pm Subject: [tcb] Parting out a bus Well, I started today parting out the 67 bus that I acquired last week. A real hippy van. Amazing what you can find in those things. Between the bumper and the bumper bracket on the rear I found an interesting baggy. It contained 2 other baggies. One had a little set of scales and the other had a whole bunch of seed. Not sure what they are but I am thinking of starting a garden. Anyone need anything off of a 67 11 window walk through? Has some good body panels if anyone is up to cutting. Or raising a garden..
