Sand with 1500 grit and put some mild dish soap in the bucket of water. Or if you want a really deep shine, start with 1000, then 1500 and finally 2000 grit. Then maquires finishing compounds--all 3 of them in order. From: i_am_cool_fred@xxxxxxxxxxx To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [tcb] Re: PAINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Date: Thu, 7 Aug 2008 06:39:26 -0500 keeping the gun level is extremely important...the runs i got were from not keeping it level...i didn't even realize that it wasn't level several times. and move your whole body so you can make even strokes instead of just moving your arm. i've yet to figure out the wet sanding process on this paint...i have used rubbing compound before on my truck so i'm not to worried aobut that part but sanding fresh paint is kinda scary sammie, didn't you do that to the bakery bus? how hard was color sanding?
