Great story Paul. That almost sounds like a Denis adventure.I'm glad that you didn't wander to far. ----- Original Message ----- From: "singlecabboy" <sealingwaxred@xxxxxxxxx>

Started out Wed. rather unceremoniously.Stopped in Waco to some HEB fully cooked brisket for our Friday night BBQ . Then on to Springdale Ar. to spend the night at the LQ . Got to ES about 10 am and cruised around town till some of the folks we stay with got to town.No one was in the hospital this year and no problems on the way up ,so this is the first year I actually got there early .Great two days before the show and awesome show and day and night.Lots of friends and nice folks everywhere..Even the flood was short lived. Awesome time .Then came Sunday and the trip home.Left about 9:30 ish , ate at the ES McDonalds and hit the road.Stopped in Springdale for gas and said our good bys to Joe.Stopped at the Haistings and got some Joe Bonnamasa and started towords home.Rain really hard on an off all the way home .I had a little problem with a toll both in OK , I got a little to close. A smart Ass Ok Trooper told me how stupid I was and he couldn't believe I had made it from Texas.Well I ask him if he was trying to be funny ? And he told me not to cop an attitude with him ,that I was the one having the problem ,not him.I told him he had drawn first blood , and that this was just alittle bump in the road and everything would be ok.We were semi friends after that. Thanks to Freido, Jeremiah ,Kathy and fried for rescuing me.You were awesome and very much appreciated .you probably kept me out of jail as I wasn't going to let the nice officer call me a dummy without coming back on him .Anyway I probably toned it down with ya'll there .Jeremiah told me to watch the one trailer tire that it had rolled over a sharp bolt on the railing by the toll booth .Got to Van Alstyne Tx and kapowee ,the tire blew.Nursed it to a Mobil station and called AAA .The lady dispatched help out of Gainsville which is 80 miles away. There was a guy stop to me about the Bently's and says he might know the Bently's that had the painting co. back in the day.100 dollar new tire and we are good to go.Try finding a trailer tire on a Sunday night ,it ain't easy. The boy from Howe Towing was awesome. Now on my way home , but first I had to have an IN N OUT burger after what I had been through.Had a double doubler and was on my way home .Made it home at 2:30 am .What a great week and weekend..It was great to see everyone.Remember"All that wander or not lost."
