Sweet! I'll keep the list posted as I iron out the details. I don't think a 
date will be hammered out until after the holidays. I'll be there for xmas and 
will give a full scouting report on the location then.

Denis mentioned a desire for some northern camping. My wifes uncle has invited 
us onto his land in Paris, TX. Is that north enough? Has a fishing pond, plenty 
of trees, and we would have access to the house across the pasture for showers. 
Best of all, no park ninjas!

 

We're thinking this or Cooper Lake sometime between January and March, and 
maybe take the kids fossil hunting on the Sulpher River (weather permitting).
