I wont be much help in the 'where to get a new turnkey' dept; altho if i had to
replace my engine today, i would probably look at busdepot longblocks... boston
engine is another name that comes to mind... i got one of the last Raby kits,
he is only doing turnkeys anymore and they are $$$$$, altho i think headflow
masters still does longblocks. its a pretty common topic on thesamba, you might
do some homework there.
but, are you sure what youve got isnt any good? maybe all it needs is some top
end love? my camper has a clunker engine, i drive the heck out of it and it
wont quit- 500mi round trip to Fredericksberg =) just get AAA premium and youre
good for a 200mi tow =D
perhaps others will chime in on some local contacts.

Hi group, I’m Ed Dhayer from Livingston Texas and I have just become the
benefactor, in October of this year, of a 73 sliding roof bus named Libby. She
is in much better shape considering her years vs mine, but she has indeed
developed a affinity for new parts. I spent the entire day with her yesterday
adding her latest Fedex delivery. So now it is time to look at her motor.
She hasn’t been on the road in years according to her previous owner so I have
concerns about her engine. I want to be able to drive her and now be worried
she would have a problem and be struck on some road far from home. So TCB gang
who would you trust to do a turnkey job on a Libby? Oh by the way she had a
transplant sometime in the past and she is now powered by a 75 motor.
