I got my bus 21 yrs ago, but it sat in the same spot without ever seeing a key for 19 yrs. Truth be told I thought I lost it, I had left it behind at a property I used to live at, the day I moved it wouldn't start. I told my old landlady I'd come back for it...well 19 yrs later I did. Guess it was just meant to be. Sent from my iPhone On Feb 22, 2011, at 9:39 PM, atx <atx_bus@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: So is it humble or Humble? I say it's neither or neither. Welcome aboard Lanny! So it is going to be warm and packed. They are expecting traffic jams getting on and off the island. I'm going early Thursday in hopes of avoiding some of that mess. --- On Tue, 2/22/11, singlecabboy <sealingwaxred@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: singlecabboy <sealingwaxred@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] Re: Bus Depot Add-A-Room Side Tent Review To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Tuesday, February 22, 2011, 8:13 PMYhea , we'e never had bad weather at any of the Bulli Gras I've been to,and Iv'e been to all of them.Sun always shines, no rain ,70's in nthe daze and 60's at night. No need to bring fire logs , rain coats or even coats or a light wrap.Oh yes ,and the wind is always under 40 mph all week end long. It's no Magellan Dome tent. But like they advertise, it looks like it will get much easier after a few set-ups. But still, you have to think of it more as an addition to the bus than a simple tent. I stayed at the Galveston State Park about 6 weeks ago. We took the VW prescribed "four people". It was a nightmare. It was too windy to start a fire and too cold to be outside without one. I ran out of propane and somebody broke the handle off the sliding door. We were bored and cramped and somebody kept farting. I think that experience fueled my appreciation for the Add-a-Room. --- On Sun, 2/20/11, Eric Woodall <ericthomaswoodall@xxxxxxx> wrote: From: Eric Woodall <ericthomaswoodall@xxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] Re: Bus Depot Add-A-Room Side Tent Review To: "tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx" <tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: "Texas Coalition of Buses" <tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sunday, February 20, 2011, 9:45 AM Just don't try to use one with a full length roof rack.I just don't work.I'm glad you liked yours, I just hated mine.It was great while it was set up but set up a
