is running t1 suspension safe???
a friend and i have discussed this several times before with the idea of 
running bags. but the concern was are beetle links strong enough to support a 
bus

If you are talking about the really low one with no gates the answer is yes.  
This was its show debut, and, yes, it is really awesome the engineering that 
went into this thing.  Many mods to the suspension that you can't see.  It has 
a Type I front suspension, a straight axle bug on the rear and is running air 
bags.  He has been working on it for several years.
