Well, if you can figure out how to contain it you can bring it anyway you want.

Denis:  Just join in my peace offering and bring a gallon of water to TP to
donate to a worthy water cooler.

If you water people keep poking the the Splitty people, one of us is going to
get irritated enough to explain to you about our snobbery, so just shut up
about it. I have been biting my tongue and gritting my teeth so far...

As far as pulling up next to another VW at a light or something and them not
reacting, I have often wondered about how you can see an old Bug or Bus
(usually a bay) drive by and the question is, are they enthusias ts or just
driving an old car. For the ones driving an old car they are probably pretty
cranky that they can't afford anything newer, so, technically, they are
anti-enthusiasts.

And if they are in Texas, but are having to live in Texas, well, that could
make them cranky, too.

Driving a split is more like flying a kite than driving a vehicle.
I enjoy flying kites.

Not sure where you got that idea from!
I know I drive a good vehicle, no inferiority here.
I am just curious why some splitty drivers seem so snobby !

Okay this is getting ridiculous!  Next thing you know we'll be breaking out in
"Kumbaya!" wearing tie dye shirts!

No worries. I am just amazed that there are so many that don't see that they
are all related and you can keep this great hobby alive without both air and
water. Yeah there are a lot of air cooled out there, I have 2 air projects
myself, but they ain't making them anymore. My Vanagon makes 2 water cooled
projects as well. John

It's more about poking fun at people who drive bricks that should be found in
foundation walls vs. Vintage aircooleds;  not about animosity.  ;-)

Embrace you love of water-cooled VW's!
Let all others be damned if they dont like it!

rememb er I got this VW less than a month ago and it had not run for over 3
years. Lonnie and other good friends, not to forget my father, helped her back
into running shape with just 2 Saturdays to work on the engine.. My thanks goes
