Yours are supposed to be 15" Denis. Fred's bus is a 67. Later 64s through 67 are 14", but if you are going aftermarket or Porsche it really doesn't matter. Cept 14 fuchs are hard to find and super expensive. --- On Tue, 2/3/09, Denis <coocoo@xxxxxxx> wrote: From: Denis <coocoo@xxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] Re: Look'n for Safari's To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Tuesday, February 3, 2009, 12:26 PM Call Discount Tire. That's where I bought my wheels. Try to find someone that will help you find American Eagles. Mine are 15". I thought they were standard. Rust & body repair, paint, safari's and wheels. I'll look into Wolfgang's stainless; I know about the pros & cons of safari's but the coolness factor is through the roof! > As far as wheels go, I'm a little ignorant on this subject. I'm looking for the shiny aluminum wheels I see most common on vws. I thought they were Fuchs and that they just bolt on. I want 14" because that is the correct size wheel on a 67 bus. > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eric Woodall" <eric@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: <tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Tuesday, February 03, 2009 8:10 AM > Subject: [tcb] Re: Look'n for Safari's > > >> Your kidding right? >> Or did you get another bus...? >> >> Fred McDonald wrote: >>> I am looking for crome safari windows for by 67 westie and also some >>> 14 inch fuchs wheels. >>> Any ideas? >> >> >> >> > > >
