I don't know where you are geographically, but if anywhere around central Texas Paul can put you in touch with Bob. Bob can put a hitch on anything. That said: I personally don't like those carriers that stick in a receiver hitch. They look very flimsy and everytime I see someone with one of those things loaded down it looks like it's going to fall off any minute. --- On Thu, 1/27/11, kelly dosch <kellydosch@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: kelly dosch <kellydosch@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] How Do You Put A Trailer Hitch On A Bus? To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Thursday, January 27, 2011, 9:03 PM I started at U-Haul and worked my way through every trailer hitch place in town. They all say the same thing. "We don't have an application for that." or "Our book only goes back to 1998." I just want a hitch to put a small cargo carrier on like this one- http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/trailer-trailer-accessories/150-lb-capacity-atv-cargo-carrier-67623.html I could sometimes be carrying a side tent, inflatable kayak, a small A/C unit and fire wood, so my rooftop cargo space isn't enough. We have all seen buses with trailer hitches. Does anybody know how they did it? Thanks for your time.
