just a well tuned 1600! I am leaking, Mike. I found the source of the pop. NOt a burnt valve, but almost as bad. I didn't get the heli coil seated well in the plug hole, the plug loosened up. I redid it today, and it's better, but I need to get those heads and fix it right asap. -----Original Message----- From: Brian Denning <i_am_cool_fred@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Mon, 3 Nov 2008 1:44 pm Subject: [tcb] Re: Hey Brian... man, mike and his super bus can keep up with robb and his super bus...when i followed robb back from t@tp i thought i was going to blow my motor. that thing must have a super charger or something on it. > Date: Mon, 3 Nov 2008 15:28:18 -0600 > From: mike@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [tcb] Re: Hey Brian... > > > > > Robb, > > You definitely have some kinda blowby or something because the whole front of > my > bus is covered with oil after following you for an hour Sunday. > > Let me know when you want those heads and you can come by or I'll drop them > off. > > > > Quoting mechmark@xxxxxxxxxxx: > >> Isn't a leak down test where you fill the engine to the top of the carb with >> oil and see if any leaks out??? >> >> -------------- Original message -------------- >> From: Will Wood <evilscientistboo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> >> burnt valve/worn seat area can cause combustion to escape into the exhaust >> port.
