Oh but Neil did you read on, I was wrong. There was in fact
celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the bus in Hannover this
weekend and The Who played and I'm sad I wasn't there. But the real
birthday was in April. Queen Elizabeth II's birthday is April 21st
but the UK celebrates her birthday in June with the Trooping of the
Colour. Maybe buses are getting the royal treatment, which is exactly
what they deserve.
