Another great camp ground just outside Glen Rose is Dinosaur Valley state
park. It's on the Paluxy River.

There are real dinosaur footprints in the riverbed.

Thats a good idea, group discount would help a lot...This ought to turn into a regular thing... Of course, we'd have to maybe rotate locations to even out travel times amoung our far-flung TCB'ers and AirCoolers...

True, maybe we can talk to them about a group discount.
Katrina Martin <k.d.martin@xxxxxxx> wrote: I liked the place. River was nice, lots of shade trees, camp fires where ever you want a camp fire, no ninja park ranger, lots of campsites with electricity, lots of campsites without electricity, two rustic cabins, no chiggers, a trash dumpster, and my dog was running loose without a leash most of the time.

Emily and I had a great time as well. Good to see everyone again and meet some new people. The shifter on the Vanagon broke again as soon as we hit the rough road leading out of the camp ground, only had 1st, 3rd, and 4th on the way home. No 2nd or reverse. guess it's time to replace all the bushings. Made it home in about 5 1/2 hrs. stopped along the way and did some antique shopping. --- mark
