I keep using the good German stuff that VW put in there originally and have not had a problem. The Baja gets driven a LOT and probably has 50,000 miles + since the ethanol mixture started. But I am open to suggestions on what better to do with the E10 or heaven help us, the E15 mixture. --- On Mon, 10/25/10, thingmon@xxxxxxxxx <thingmon@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: thingmon@xxxxxxxxx <thingmon@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: [tcb] Fuel Hose To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Monday, October 25, 2010, 1:29 PM TCB'rs, Don't remember seeing an answer on the hose compatibility with alcohol question posed a while back, so one of my NASA friends says use SAE 30R9, it’s got a nylon-like liner (forget what the exact material is) to keep the alcohol from the neoprene. He uses it on his 412. May want to change them out every few years, regardless.
