Nevermind.
I'll be heading to Crystal Beach here in a bit. Driving the Bug (and all
2KW of amps and stereo). No speedo, broken cable. But my uncle is supposed
to bring me a new cable from Austin Vee-Dub if they have one in stock.
With the frnt seats flipped forward there's enogh room for me to sleep on
the back seat (since I sleep sitting up except on the hard Rivi top bunk).
I'd fold the back seat down but the luggage area is full of speakers. I
used to go camping and sleep in the '69, and in both of the '64s I owned
before that -- I haven't gotten any taller, just bigger around.
BUS CONTENT: The Rivi is only running on 2 cylinders (3 & 4) and with the
family reunion this weekend I just don't have time to check the valves and
pull the plugs to see if 1/2 fouled out while it was running rich.
I still don't have my personal web server back online. When I do I'll post
the camper interior link I told y'all about last week. It's a book with
some good ideas about building your own interior. I scanned it in several
years ago and created an HTML version of it. I'll be working Mon - Sun next
week so maybe I'll get it back online then (though I do have to handle my
"regular duties" and also replace about 300 ceiling tiles during that week
so ...).
