The list members do a good job of 'policing' so I stay out of it. I'll
only pop up if someone becomes so obnoxious that they need to be
blocked completely. And you generally won't see the effects of my
actions. Eg. If John B. had replied with "I'll post whatever I want to"
then he'd no longer be able to post to the list and the topic would die
with people wondering where he went.

The attachments --- no complaints so I don't say anything about it.
Most people are using broadband Internet now so it's not such a big
issue as it was when there were still lots of people on dial-up. Those
who use their cell phones to interact with the list are generally
tech-savvy enough to tell the phone not to download messages over a
certain size to avoid munching their byte-limits.

Also thought we weren't supposed to send e-mails with file
attachments through the list and we have had a lot of that lately.
Where are the bus police?
