'Twas great seeing Dan and Kat! I haven't had that much fun in Ennis in a
couple of years. We had a great time camping, etc. It's a shame the drag guys
are so devisive amongst themselves, so much so, half of them run off to another
racing event on the same day as Ennis. Never seemed to dawn on those that
did that it's bad for the hobby as a whole. Oh well, if it does go away, at
least the last one was a memorable one, for me anyway.

Yep, enjoyed seeing everyone too, including Dan and Katrina who I had not seen
in a while. Paul, do you have any info on a Bugswarm this year. I just got
off of the web site of the North Texas VW club and they have nothing on there
about Bug Swarm. In fact, it didn't look like their web site had been updated
in about 6+ months.

Great pictures as always.One of the better car show attendance wise. Drag
racing was a bummer.All the racers were (4 or 5) were headed out the door by
one o'clock .Swap was small.I have never seen more excitement at the trophy
presentation than yesterday, which was awesome.Because sometimes it would be
like a funeral or wedding ,not like a celebration of the winners.No date was
announced and as Sammi said ,it really doesn't look too promising .I personally
had a great time visiting with new and old Friends.The show will be missed if
in fact it dies off.Also I was told that this years Bug Swarm will be the last
.The North Texas Club is having attendance issues and lack of interest in the
club.The brightest spot of the weekend was seeing Dan and Katrina at
Ennis.Sorry for the ramblings.
