After seeing "Unstoppable" this weekend, I'm installing a safety cab from an
AC44 to the front of my bus.. ;-)

Wait, now Paul will copy me and paint it chestnut brown... LOL

Mark Jenkins used to have these little horn things on the front bumper of his
bus.  They were supposed to be deer repellents.  Don't know if they worked but
that bus has never hit a deer.

Just tell the deer to avoid being out while you are driving around.

Whatever mood I am in, it always makes me feel good to drive Murray. I
sometimes get the mindset that I need to fix this or adjust that before I can
drive him, but most of the time I just fire him up and drive him around. Love
it!

I need to drive it every day to keep me from thinking of the money I spent LOL!
I am driving the 23 to my 2nd Thanksgiving today. It's 38 now, going over early
we are going to try and hook up the rest of the wiring then around 2 when it is
a bit warmer a drive around White Rock Lake!

I can vouch for that!  The more you get to enjoy it, the less you think about
the money you’ve spent.

I’m about to go out in mine for the regular Sat morning coffee gig, and I don’t
think we’re to 40deg just yet.  I have a Coleman catalytic camp heater that
I’ll be trying out.  I’ll let y’all know how it works….

I have experienced the same thing (forgetting about the money pit)!

Split buses have a tendency to turn frowns upside-down.

Glad your finally getting to enjoy yours!

... with the window stuck open tonight and loving it! I hooked up the speedo
cable and then the satellite radio so I took him for a spin to East Dallas and
drove down the highway for the first time (20 miles round trip).

Solo driving for the first time in the 23 listening to the Grateful Dead
through the back roads with a huge smile on my face...  I think I am starting
to think of this Bus as mine instead of some money pit at a far off shop. I am
loving it!
