Thanks-a-million Dionysus!

I put it on the metal so that it held down the edge. I went ahead and put yellow snot on the raised edge inside for extra insurance. I wish Izzy had a website with instructions.

Cool.
One more question though, did you put the glue in the valley of the seal, then install the seal or did you put it on the bus body?

Denis Dodson wrote:
Yes, but you have to be careful not to tear the rubber. A sharp knife will break the bond, and then you can clean the crispy stuff off the rubber with acetone or nail polish remover. I wouldn't want to do it too many times, but so far, I'm OK.

So you were able to get the seal back off, even after installing them with crazy glue the first time?

I have Izzy's safaries and he absolutely swears by Crazy Glue and only Crazy Glue. I am working on the metal around the windshield, so I have taken the rubber off and everywhere that I had made a closure with the Crazy Glue (no other brand) the rubber was absolutely closed on the metal, no gaps. It pulled paint off. The rubber was attached much closer than anywhere I thought I was smart and used weatherstrip glue (the yellow snot) . I believe now I understand what he was saying. It will make a seal way better than the yellow snot. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eric Woodall" <eric@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hey Denis,
What kind of glue did you use when you glued your seals in?
