You think the 20 plus headwinds would slow me down that day?

My eighth mile times were good but the wind was a wall that day.

Damn Will, if you'd take that dumb roof rack off it would run a whole lot
faster!

I don't think they would have a problem catching up even if we left at 7 am.
New beetles and pick up trucks pulling trailers loaded with credit cards can go
much faster than a pack of buses full of camping gear!

I like the Exxon meeting place we have used before.
We could also use the Pilot at 290 and 1488. (I think that is where Ronnie has
met us)

Personally we still have not made the call as to WHEN we are leaving, we have
discussed thursday afternoon or evening, friday morning and crack of dawn
saturday morning.
Amplifying information to follow.............

I agree. I suggested the Exxon station to them at the march meeting but, they
kept talking about places to have breakfast, etc. Meeting at a place where you
can get a last minute gasoline fill up makes much more sense. Let them meet up
with us after they do their thing.

It has come to my attention that the HVWC is leaving Friday morning around 9:00
to cruise to the Classic. When is the Houston chapter of the TCB planning on
leaving??? Do we want to cruise the the HVWC?? I already posted that we have a
cruising speed of 60 to 65 mph and will not go faster than that. They are
meeting at the Academy at 1960 and 290 (bad choice) I said we will be meeting
at the Exxon at 290 and Huffmeister.

Any Suggestions?????
