Split gas tank holds 40 liters. That's pretty close to 10.6
gallons. Maybe the meter at the pump needs checking!!!! Naw, a service
station would never cheat ya! And then again, maybe someone has sneaked a
bay window gas tank into that thing, many have been replaced with the bay
gas tank which holds more but don't know how much. Have never owned a bay.

Wow!
11 gallons!
Split bus tank is like 10 point something, I guess you got most of it out of the float bowl as well!
The same wind that was hurting was helping me both ways.

So I fill up my tank before cruising to Glen Rose, didn't bother to fill it up for the ride home thinking I was fine and would fill it up on my way to work this morning. It was a windy drive both there and home. I get to the gas station this morning about 2 miles from home, it sucked up 11.06 gallons! That's more than the listed capacity for the tank. I musta been driving on what was left on the carb bowl. *whew*
