There is McKinney Falls State Park which is near the airport and there are
hotels near the airport.

There is Emma Long City Park but it isn't downtown, I don't know how close the
nearest hotel would be.

There is Pecan Grove on Barton Springs. It is a super duper great location but
RV spots are pricey because I think you get water and sewer and electricity and
maybe internet and satellite. But when I stayed there I got to park in the
overflow area where it isn't really a proper site but a parking space that has
electricity and maybe water. They only charged me $10 a night. The RV park has
bathrooms and showers and laundry. Homestead Suites is close by. You can walk
to a brew pub and coffee shops and lots of other food places and bars and
Zilker Park where you can swim for free at Barton Springs from 9 until 10 every
night I believe. They really want the RVs in the RV sites and only use the
overflow spots for like a night or two while someone waits for something to
open up. But I gave them a sob story and since it was just a wee little Bus
that doesn't need sewer and other stuff they let me stay in the overflow spots
for an extended amount of time.

I believe there is/was another RV place on Barton Springs. But with condos
being built and stuff I am not sure it still exists. I think it is called Shady
Grove RV Park. (There is still a restaurant called Shady Grove.).

I hope that helps.
