pull the line off and look down the hole see if has the funnel cone down in it 
,if so the auto parts houses may have 8 inch steel line with a deeper thread 
you can bend it by carfuly by hand that should fix it.

Mark,

I was trying to bleed my brakes today on Krusty and I had brake fluid running 
out of the drum.  Pulled the drum on the passenger side and both connectors on 
the s shaped metal line run out of thread before they bottom out.  I can 
tighten it all the way down and still move the metal line back and forth about 
1/16".

It seems like they machined the ports too deep.  I threw away the old wheel 
cylinders so I don't have anything to compare them to.

Have you ever heard of this?
