Speaking of the dark side...

Interestingly enough, the 5 cyl EuroVans feel very industrial and emotionless, and German. Most Northern Germans I know are this way and I have been accused of being this way as well... So after a short acclimation period, I've come to accept the brutal and unfeeling power the EuroVans have. I don't think soccer moms like 5 speed noisy growly vans but maybe they do. 

But my family is from southern Germany, so we like to work hard but also party hard... This is where the older VWs come in... A passion for being over-engineered for the heck of it, frustratingly so at times... Of which I have also been accused of... Taking nothing seriously and at the same time taking everything seriously...
