Adding gaskets under the fuel pump decreases the throw to the fuel pump by the
thickness of the gasket therefore less pressure.

me, check the fuel pressure, right,,,,, I looked in the Bentley and trying to
figure out "connect a fuel gauge from the fuel pump to the carb and using an
alternative fuel source" you should see xyz psi...

  What?

  Anyone ever done this?

The best part is about using "gaskets" to get the right pressure at the pump,
how the heck does that work? Shimming up the pump?

  Please enlighten me .
