I feel your pain. My wife's car lost a wheel bearing at Thanksgiving. I ended
up putting the car on jack stands and removing most of the rear suspension to
get the housing to a machine shop. My driveway was scattered with broken
tools. Then the store sold me the wrong parts. Good luck.

I got real problems! I went back to replace the seals and make sure about a
spacer on the rear axles and I CAN NOT get the %#!&%*%##! bearing off the axle.
I am on my second day of beating, squeezing, heating and swearing at the
%#@!&**%^#@ bearing and it will not come out far enough for me to get behind it
to pry it off. I have disconnected the axle tube at the tranny so the axle tube
should slide of of the axle. And it would except that the #@^&%@@^%& bearing
wont come off. I have taken my 4 lb sledge and taken baseball swings at the
part that holds the shock on and that won't move it. I have used my little MAPP
gas Bernzamatic and heated the bearing at the axle and that won't help (I don't
own a welding set up with a real torch). I have gone to the Autozone and
borrowed a gear puller and attached it to the shock holder part and the
threaded part and put the air hammer socket to it and it will not give.

I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO PULL THE TRANNY SO THAT I CAN TAKE OUT THE FRIGGIN'
AXLE AND PUT IT IN A PRESS!!!

I can't think of any other ways to get this off, I guess my next move is to
rent or buy a real torch to make enough heat to free this #@^%*! thing. If
anybody has any ideas and you can take your minds off of what you are wearing
to the friggin' Prom, I'd like to hear it.
