I took Mom on a trip from Little Rock AR to Dallas in
the '69...she loved the way people smiled and waved
constantly...the way complete stranger approached like
old friends with VW stories of their own.
Mom said it was the best trip she'd ever been on.  I
know it was the best that I'd ever been on.
