Luckily I did my steering box in '83? I forgot when, but have put about 250 (trailered) miles on it since then. :-)

I tried to do mine a few weeks ago ('64 sc) thought I could use a wood dowel to drive out the old bushings, didn't even budge them. I even had the new bushings reamed before I tried to install them, I don't think that would have worked either. Soo...I just put in all the new parts (except the bushings) and left the old bushings there, I use my truck for my business and I needed it back on the road. It is better,...... the real problem is the steering box. : (

Hi all,

Anyone have a 24mm reamer for the bus center pin and would not mind renting it. I am getting ready for the job and would like to check here before committing to WW. TIA
