Katrina and I went over to San Antonio for the San Antonio AirCoolers "
Because We Can" show Saturday morning. We drove the mazda, due to the
weather. We had a nice trip. The show was pretty good, they are weird
when you don't have a car in them. They had about 60 cars, a couple
real nice early models, one bug one conv. ghia. Allen was there in his
immaculate 71 panel . There were a couple Austin AirCoolers (the bus
pilots) They were excited to get the flyer for Paul's "Transporters at
the Point", I think several of them might make it. I tried to give
Philip a flyer and he had some of his own he gave to the SAAC to give
out in SA. The drive home was OK. We went home ate and cleaned up a
little and headed to the "V DUBs and Texas Nites". There were 8 TCBers
at the show! Some real nice cars, David Blades new oval chop top was my
favorite. There were 2 guys there with Porsche Spyder kit cars that
were great. Tray won the under dog trophy right after he left, I have
your trophy (better get it quick or I might keep it!... j/k) It was
nice to Steve and Sharon, They were having the same problem I had in
SA. Going to a car show with no car is too strange. The TCB members in
attendance discussed going to Buses and Balloons next year instead of
Eureka Springs. We had a great time as always seeing old and new
friends.
