Have you checked the SmartAV website? I downloaded the last version of the
Tango 2 software last month. John

Hello Jesse,
If your software is corrupt, the best thing to do is to restore the original
disc image of your Tango. This way everything (Tango software + windows
operating systemI is restored to its original state. I did this with my Tango 2
when its SSD died. Unfortunately since I have a Tango 2 I only have the files
for Tango 2 :
Here is a link to the instructions to copy the disk image:-

And here is a link to download the disk image:-

Does someone have the original Tango 1 disc image that they could share with
Jesse?
You also have to be aware that you will lose all your personal settings. To
save these before restoring the disc image, you can save the files is these
folders : (again this is for Tango 2, but I suspect it’s the same for Tango
1)Edit Panel & Programmable key configurations are stored in these folders:
- C:\Program Files\Smart AV\Smart Console\Tango\cfg
- C:\Program Files\Smart AV\Smart Console\Users
Hope this helps,

Yeah I updated the firmware and it was acting really weird so I factory reset
it, and now I'm getting all these error messages? It won't even launch the
software. And when I try to close the error messages, they just keep telling me
the same thing and it just keeps looping the error messages.

Hi,
I am no expert you see, but did you try to update the software and firmware?
And always first upgrade the console software before you update the firmware!

Hello Guenther,
I am using Tango 1 with Logic 9 and it works great!
I have one little thing that could be better:
-meters for mono channels on the Tango are always hotter than in Logic's mixer
.. stereo tracks are fine Do you also have this issue?
Do you have any other oblems or little annoying things when you use it with
logic X? What console software version are you running?
Ok thanks again for the help!! Jan

Betreff: [tangousers] Smart AV Tango - compatibility Mac OS X.11 El Capitan and
Logic X
Dear Tango users
A client of mine is planning to upgrade his OS X Leopard to El Capitan, and his
Logic to Logic X.
However, he owns and loves for that matter a Smart AV Tango, so compatibility
is required.
As the Tango is only supported up to Yosemite, we can’t be sure if things will
work out.
So I would kindly ask you if anybody has experience with Mac OS X El Capitan
and Logic X. Is the
Tango compatible? Did you encounter any problems?
Many thanks for your help and swift response!
Yours sincerely
Stijn Dewolf
