I will try that asap (I’m out of the studio for a few days). So you suggest to
set the IPs manually in Tango and in netsmart right ? I have a feeling it might
not make a difference since netsmart seems to detect Tango and Protools, and
that this same config works with Cubase, but it’s worth a try !
So you are yourself using Protools 2020 with a Tango (2) ?

I have a Tango 2 that still works fine on Cubase 10.5, running on a mac pro
with Mojave. Now I’m having to use Protools (latest version: 2020.5.0) and I

It’s strange because netsmart is installed and running fine, I’ve set up 4
HUIs routed to the smart av ports 1 to 4 in Protools and the Tango sees
netsmart and Protools. On the "connecting to Protools (HUI)” panel it goes
all the way to “connection initiated”. Then, when I tap “track sync OK” on
Tango it say “connection established” then the connecting panel disappears
(as it should). BUT, after that nothing happens. Can’t see the Protools
channels on Tango and none of the programmable keys are working. I don’t use
Protools very often, but my previous version of Protools (10 if I remember
well) worked fine with my Tango.
Can anyone help ? Is anyone running Protools with Tango successfully ?
