My Tango 1 already had a couple of sticky faders, though I intended to try
fixing those with the methods suggested. But then, a month ago, a massive
fire tore through the building I live and work in, so much so that the
building will be demolished. Flames didn't reach the studio, but smoke did,
majorly. I was insured and it's a total write off. But, there is a
smoke-exposed Tango 1 sitting there which I don't intend to attempt to
restore myself. See picture. I simply don't have the time and energy right
now. But if anyone could make use of it, I'd much happier they took it than
see it crushed by the diggers when they take down the building.
The building is hard to access right now, so removal of large objects will
have to happen through a window with a hoist. There will be a co-ordinated
effort to do this within the next two weeks , I would think. Once I know the
day, that would be when you'd need to come and get it. West London, W9.
