For what it’s worth, I've had issues with all my Tango 2 screens (4) and have
fixed the by adding an additional cable inside to avoid the overheating issue
which was causing some of the multi-pin connectors to fail. Maybe this is the
same issue with Tango 1?

I have 2 spare screens (plus the one in my T1 )as I've had to change twice.
Although I'm not entirely convinced the screens were the issue.
