How are all of you getting NetSmart to install in High Sierra? Modifying
systemversion.plist?

Jan,
I will let you know if I figure it out. Either way it works quite well and is
way better than before.

Jan,
The sends above the channels are still too slow or fine to use. But I
usually select a channel and use the active controls anyways which now
works fine for the send adjustments. Previously the send function did not
work at all. So far high Sierra works well. I am wondering if there is an
adjustment in logic to adjust the sensitivity of the send knob rotation
buried somewhere in the controller mapping settings. I am going to
investigate more this week.

Hey Ken Gray,
Good news that you got it working!
I also have a Tango 1 working with Logic X on Sierra
Everything works, there is just a little bug with the sends. They are very
slow, i have to turn multiple times to get the value up by a small amount.
The way around this is that i touch the send knob and then adjust it with
the active controls
Did you have this problem too and did it go away when going to High Sierra?
Thanks!

After much experimenting I was able to get my Tango 1 and the extension
bay functional on Mac OS 10.13.4 (High Sierra) in combination with Logic
10.4.1. Interestingly almost everything that didn’t work now seems to
work including the sends. I am using Net Smart 3.3.0. Iggy / Sassi
software build 3.3.0.16, console software 3.2.5.1 and firmware2.4.1.10.
I will do more testing this week. The big advantage is I can now use a
more modern computer running the most recent OS and the current version
of Logic X, with a Tango unit that so far is fully functional. Next step
is to pull out my active extension bay and see if I can get back to my
full 32 fader setup. It’s a good day in Hollis NH 😊
