Get someone to put Talks on to it for you. If you are with Vodafone ask them if they will give you the money discount for it amd then ask a Talks dealer to do it for you. -original message- Subject: [talks-uk] Re: vodafone question From: "Badger" <monty_badger@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 29/07/2009 11:51 pm don't think they will. they've given me the e71 on contract, i'm just not happy about having to take it to the shop to be shipped off to have them put talks on. took them over 2 months to get it rite last time. friend of mine wanted the n86 and they wouldn't give him it because it's not been tested by vodafone propperly yet with talks plus it has some issues at the moment. the e71 was the only one they could offer me wierdly enough but i wanted that one. ----- Original Message ----- From: cheeky chipmunk To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, July 29, 2009 11:47 PM Subject: [talks-uk] Re: vodafone question I maybe going to have the same problem, I want the N86 but don't think they will let me have it on contract. I will go elsewhere if they don't and they never put the latest versions of talks on either, Carol ----- Original Message ----- From: Badger To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, July 29, 2009 11:40 PM Subject: [talks-uk] vodafone question just ordered the e71 off vodafone. they said they can't send the phone out with talks on and i'll have to go the shop which is a pain in the proverbial. does anybody know if i can install the talks software myself then call them and have them lisence it for me? otherwise, after the trouble i had last time i think i'd rather bite the bullet and pay the 50 quid transfer fee. __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 4289 (20090729) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com
