I did speak to someone who spoke to a senior manager and then rung me back. My account has been credited. She did suggest that if I upgrade in the future then I can ask them to put talks on the ;phone before sending it to me. I do not know if this is actually true in reality as some have had less success with this in the past. I explained to her that while I have no problems at all with the helpfulness of the staff, I am concerned that the information the staff have access to in the desability section of the website is so out of date that it is little use to them when providing help. She encouraged me to email customer services about this so I will shortly. Usually I am very polite to them encouraging them to put me on to someone who is experienced. Once I get that person I explain that I have a new phone, got on a new contract or whatever you did and say I am able to have talks put on immediately rather than sending to the shop for week(s) and would they be kind enough to reimberse me the £50.00 to my Account. Have not had a problem with this. When they agree I say would they be kind enough to send me a statement with this showing that I have been Credited and they do. Paul on the list has done this before now too. It was from Paul I first heard of this. I explain to them that my first phone had Talks put on by Vodafone and I have been known to say, but this is up to you, that if I put on my own version it is or has more accessability than the Vodafone one but again I do not say in a negative way. go ahead get on to them tonight.
