Talking of upgrading firmware, if I backup my phone to the memory card before firmware upgrading the phone, I imagine that the backup file won't be affected and then I can restore my contacts successfully? Could someone please confirm? And would I need to reinstall Talks and other applications or all will be reinstalled in the restoration process? Any help is appreciated, Amro ----- Original Message ----- From: Steve Nutt To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, June 23, 2007 11:49 PM Subject: [talks-uk] Re: upgrading Nokia N73 firmware Hi Graham, Go to http://www.blindsea.com, go to Mobile Corner, and go to third party programs. You will find it there, I believe, much more accessibly. I know Steve says that the firmware upgrade process is accessible but I am having a problem even downloading the updater. I go to the nokia site and can get to the update firmware page where I am asked to select a phone model. This is a Flash movie type page and i just have a load of buttons labeled 1, 2, 3 etc. clicking one appears to make no difference. How do I get to the firmware updater tool? regards Graham Graham Page Home Phone: 0207 265 9493 Mobile: 07753 607980 Fax: 0870 706 2773 Email: gpage@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx MSN: gabriel_mcbird@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype: gabriel_mcbird __________ NOD32 2349 (20070623) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com
