Alex,

I wasn?t wrong just confused, the original message involved a transfer and
update, from Talks standard v2, to Talks Premium v4 on a different phone.

Talks standard is not transferable, therefore initially an update for £50 to
enable the transfer right and then the £50 to transfer.

Later it transpired that the person involved only wanted to update, and not
transfer, this is £50 as stated.

Neil, that?s what I thought, which is why I was surprised by Steve?s
response.

Cheers

Alex,

If you only cross phone upgrade, this only moves the standard v2 license to
the new phone, and not the upgrade part, so that new phone will only have
v2. You need to do both... £50 to move it, and £50 to upgrade.

Steve, I don?t think there?s an awful lot of point in upgrading a phone
from 2005, so it?ll be a cross phone upgrade.

Thanks very much for your help!

Hi Alex,

Yes, if they are putting it on a new phone, then it is a cross phone
upgrade. If they want to upgrade the existing phone as well, that would be
100 pounds.

All the best

Steve

Hi Alex,

No, they don?t have to do it in more than one step. So if you are on 2.0
Standard, and you pay 50 pounds, you get currently 4.11 Premium.

All the best

Steve

Oh right, so they don?t have to upgrade from talks standard to premium or
anything like that?

Cheers
