Fortunately, you are wrong. If you change We to Wednesday, then set it to
application specific for just the standby screen, and set it to whole words
only, you get round that problem.

I'm not certain of what I'm going to say, but I'm sure Steve
will correct me if I'm wrong.
I think what you are wanting to do is actually possible,
however, it may cause you problems in text messages. Let me
explain, if you changed We in the dictionary so that it said
Wednesday, then wherever the word We occurred the text would
say Wednesday, e.g., the phrase We will would become
Wednesday will when in a text message.
