Hi Steve:

I just reset my display settings and that seems to have made a lot of the nonsense disappear. Any advice to make things more efficient are most welcome.

Jean

Hi Alex,

I thought I was clear enough. You do nothing on the PC, just rename on the
phone. If you can't rename, then delete and re-pair.

All the best

Steve

Hi Steve,

Thanks for that info. I headed the thread as I did, as I
thought my problem was different to the one Jackie had
raised, and not therefore to do with Bluetooth, however,
going by what you've said I guess I've got the same problem
Jackie had, and if so, I'll try renaming both my phone and
Carol's in Bluetooth, although I'd appreciate clarification
as to whether this needs doing just on the phone or whether
I need to take any action on the PC as well.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Alexander Shannon
