Subject: [talks-uk] phone sorted [well almost]

  hi
i have had my n 86 hard reset so it no longer says low memory move or delete
from phone memory on start up
however i have noticed something that i don't remember happening before
that is when i switch the phone on it does not say o2/network 7 bars and
whatever else followed
it does this after a period of about 10 - 15 seconds delay
does this happen to other mobile phone users and in particular the n86?
it comes up with the day and date but takes such a long time to go to the
network which in my case is o2

also i notice that once i get to the network selection when i open the
slider for the first time i get the same delay before it says anything

again is this normal and does anyone else have this?

one last thing i have to put on all my contacts because of hard reset they
are no longer on the n86
they are on another handset and i want to copy them over from one handset to
the other
i can do it the time consuming way of sending business card then opening the
text message adding to the contacts directory and deleting the text message
this is time consuming and i am looking for another way which is much
quicker
i know of phone switch but only 1 handset has this facility
and you don't have to be Stephen hawking to work out which handset the
contacts are on

there is also p c suite but i know not how to use p c suite and after what
happened last time i did try p c suite re the messages to the list about low
memory i am not keen on using p c suite
so as only 1 handset has phone switch and the contacts are on the one that
does not how can i copy these contacts

  thank you

  Yvonne
