hi, 
I understand yes it is muted because it says mute is no if you press talks and 
clear, but it still does talk if you acctervate the loud speaker, and on some 
phones very loud like the e65.

  When you say turn it off, it is by default muted, it will only speak if you 
do any of the Talks commands, or if you unmute Talks during the call.

  You are unable to change to a different synth at this time for use within 
calls.
